Focus and stay bindaas
After hustling around for awhile, and not knowing the motive of this life, I guess it’s the right time to post on this blog…lol. So, the focus on career and life (career is not life) are getting onto my nerves.. but I guess, I am figuring out this funda.
Internals are commencing from the next week, which means it’s time to stay bindaas. It’s been 2 years since I gave any weight to my education life, perhaps, to study abroad – I’ve to somehow score respectful marks and really concentrate of achieving some grades at least! :/
It was a gloomy day in the college.. and hundreds of people were flocking outside the gate for a reason. It was an campus interview I witnessed for the first time, the winner would be earning himself a super-stressful job in Tech Mahindra. No idea what kind of job would that be, but after analyzing those unhelpful souls sashayed from the scorching suns just to avoid the heat, I felt it in me. At that very moment I knew corporate life isn’t for me.
Not that I can’t battle with the sun, sure I can. The point is about money, not for me but for them. Unfortunately, everyone takes up uninterested and rather unknown job for the sake of money.
I don’t blame them, it’s the cycle of life. You study something, you get trained for something else and you do job you have no idea about, working hours together for.. for 15k..20k salary per month? Sure you will be promoted but darn my self-confidence of becoming the CEO one day. I believe I will start my own small company and be a self-millionaire-entrepreneur
How pleasing that would be! So, for now.. job ko maaro goli!
Most of those to-be-employed people in the college teetered and perhaps, 20% of them were competing; the rest of them were clearly out of the race. Blame the education, or blame the mindset 90% of the Indians grew up with. Nevermind, time to focus on my life
Also learnt some unknown facts about my obnoxious VTU Engineering univ. They have been the first univ. to initiate distance e-learning programmer named EDUSAT, moreover, VTU have the highest recruitment ratio compared to the rest of the Indian universities. Unbelievable.
And, I kinda envy some random friend’s friend who has been to Monaco, Switzerland and UK. Such a wonderful experience, isn’t it?
Wish I had a bag full of moolah’s to throw around. Wish I studied in different places, for instance, schooling in Finland, Puc in Japan or Amsterdam and Engineering in the USA
Ah! That’s stressful, but the experience last forever!
Down the line, it’s all about the money and what all you own. For that you need to focus, make an blueprint and have that much needed luck to carry you forward. I’ve my plans and I am waiting to get rid of one small hurdle and perhaps it would take me 4 months to do so. I can wait.
Also, my this years book reading resolution is on full swing. Had to make up my mind to study at least 12 books, rather useful ones that might be super-engaging. Excited to finish them, but all this after the internals which are scheduled to take place back-to-back for 6 days. Already in an studying mood while writing this post..
These two new books were:
Ford Country, John Grisham – Series of stories. Finished reading the first 50 pages in 2 small sittings thanks to the power cut. And, I wonder why the cover of the book has ‘For Indian Sub continental only’ labeled, I guess the foreign version comes with profanity, but that’s what I purchased the book for in the first place
The monk who sold his Ferrari, Robin Sharma – Read couple of pages and I assume this book deals with life and money.
Such a long post. Man, do I ever stick to a single topic. O_O
Note to self – Study for this internals.
